In part two, of this series, here Clara and the Farmer become lovers, and she and him are a couple, she learns that he is alone has no family other then himself, as the Farmer has been kind to her, and what she has become, wants a family with him, even if it means having sex with animals, as well as him.
They plan on having others of her kind live with them, as Clara knows that since the change 30 percent of the human race became like her, Rat People, and as such she knows that they need to stay together and work together in order to survive as now a new race.
At the same time, she becomes pregnant with both a child from a stallion and from the Farmer. As they plan, the first wave of Rat People have found them.
