Story Excerpt

Chuck is now putting his plan in motion. His work thinks he’s on vacation, the family thinks he is on a work trip. He has to get away now in order for enough time to pass that the corruption can fade from everyone before the demon takes him forever. Before he can leave town, he needs to stop by the travel agency one last time. He can’t find any instructions on gaining entry to the cabin once he gets there. When he gets there Tina reveals she hid the keys to get him to stop by one more time before he left. One last fiery encounter with her brings the demonic energy buried in Chuck to the surface again, nearly unstoppable, barely controllable. As his time ticks down, so does his ability to manage it. He needs to get away to be alone as quickly as possible.
