Story Excerpt

Chuck faces the unsettling reality that Bonnie has returned from Singapore with no memory of their intimate relationship. After a heated encounter with Jenny in his office, Chuck confronts the demon about Bonnie’s changed behavior. The demon explains that distance from Chuck’s influence causes the corruption to fade. During their intense supernatural encounter, the demon encourages Chuck to reclaim Bonnie by issuing a new command, while simultaneously forcing him to acknowledge the monstrous nature he’s developing through their unholy bargain. As Chuck struggles with the temptation to reassert control over Bonnie and the disturbing truth about what he’s becoming, he must decide whether to embrace his dark powers or fight against the demonic influence that continues to transform him.
